Today was W6R3....I had been dreading it after a rubbish run 2 with a massive gremlin trying to talk me out of continuing. So I decided to do the run at my new local parkrun (having checked that they wouldn't mind a tortoise). I was very nervous when I turned up especially watching all the pros doing their stretching. 9am came and the run started, I pressed play and off I went obeying Laura's instructions. At 25 minutes of running Laura told me I could now do my warm down walk, however I managed to stay in my rhythm and ran an extra 7 minutes to the finish line.....I even managed to 'sprint' up the last incline! I never thought that I would shed tears of joy over running πŸ˜‚ I am truly shocked by how well this program works πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ Oh and Laura telling me that I was now a proper runner was just the best. Yay!!!

Thanks all....I haven't managed to get out for W7R1 yet, to be honest, I am more than a little scared that I won't be able to repeat it πŸ˜• .....currently trying to tell the gremlin to do one and that I'm going in the morning!
