So in a fee hours time (when its cooled down a bit) I'm going to start W4R1 and I'm a bit nervous for it as its a lot of running for a longer time and I barely made it when I was doing 3 mins running never mind 5mins plus the walking time is decreased I know this is the aim of it for it to increase in running time and drecrease in walking time but I was wondering what peoples experiences of week 4? As its a bigger step up than the other previous weeks

Nervous for week 4
I remember feeling exactly like this at the start of week 4 - it felt like a massive jump up for me and I thought it might be the day that I had to walk before the running part was over. But I did it and you can too! When I felt that I was beginning to struggle I slowed down, barely faster than a walk at times but it got me through. Trust in the programme. They are manageable increments and your body can do it; the challenge is definitely a mental one. It's only an extra 90 seconds than the runs you did last week. Remember, go slow! You'll be fine!
Thanks I'm glad I'm not the onkynone who thought this is daunting and its good to here you done well on it I'm about to go out in about 10 mins or so to do it so hopefully it goes well ... Slow and steady wins the race right ?
In four weeks time you will be where I am now giving advice to somebody saying 'I remember feeling like that' just before you head out to run for 28 minutes
Go slow. Keep going. Let us all know how you get on!
