In the words of Victor Meldrew ........ I would never have thought that I would jog for 20 mins but I was up at 5.30 to do W5R3! Off I went full of nerves๐ First couple of mins were a struggle as I went up an incline.....then improved.....till I hit an incline for last 2 mins....but I kept going and my fit bit told me I'd increased pace per km ..... I think I'm still in shock....and as you can see not a pretty sight when I got back.
My swollen ankles held up.....๐
Haven't looked to see what's in store next week but that's it till Sunday!
Thanks for all your words of encouragement over the weeks......and even if I don't get to 30mins....I will be happy with 20, 3 times a week.....it's all good.
Happy running all.......๐๐

Great pikkie... and up with the larks... Brilliant!
7.30 this morning for me... I was running late ( see what I did there.. )
Very well done you... don't bother looking what is ahead.. just get out there, slow and steady and follow the plan!
You took your nerves and zapped them and you totally rocked that incline... onwards and upwards! I run on Sunday too... so I will be rooting for your Week 6 Run 1 !!!!
Fluffyowl it's the best time of day for me! Now I can sit and bathe in the glory knowing I have done it - can't wait till Sunday now.... That will be a more sociable 7.30 as no work to go to...๐
Well done. You did it! We are well on the way now! Like you I think 3 x 20 mins would be just fine but let's see what the next couple of weeks have in store. You might well surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
