Managed this one this morning before going To training on managing vunerable young people why oh why did they provide scones cream and jam for the refreshments 2 accidentally found their way on to my plate. Oh well at least the run helped offset a bit of them!

Nice to have an occasional treat, Tombenoly . Next time, if you want to avoid temptation, box 'em up & courier 'em to me 🍰 :)

Who said scones and cream? Where are they? I could scoff a few of those now.

Well done on the run.

Look at it this way - you are sacrificing your diet to help others stay on track.... It is a public service duty you are performing, nothing to apologise for :-)

Clotted cream ? Mm mm yes please

Jam = fruit = one of your 5 a Day. Cream = Calcium = essential for healthy bones that we need for running. Scones = Carbohydrates = essential for energy when running. Jam + Scones + Cream = Great food for runners. Fact.

But that's why we run- so we can occasionally squeeze in a couple of scones!
