I've got 1 workout of week 4 left, im really enjoying running now! But am a little scared of week 5!

in reply toRunnerBee

Yes RunnerBee got that w5 start tomorrow and going to brave the outside. Eldest daughter said she'd come with me I think she knows I may crack on this one!!! We must both be brave 😬

That is brave running outside, something I can't quite face just yet; hopefully when I've lost more weight and can run (well very slow jog) for longer x

But will be starting wk5 tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it, I think because the run sections are longer and I know I can do them now so I can see I am progressing more

I really enjoy it too, something I never ever thought I'd say as I was always: I can't run and envious of people who could.

I'm really looking forward to wk5; can't say I'm not scared of run 3 but looking forward to it as well to see how far I've progressed; it is amazing really.

Good luck with your wk4 run 3; when are you doing it?

Same here, I've always wanted to run but made excuses such as having asthma -amazingly when I first started, I was using my pump after every 60 second run but now I don't need it at all!

I'm doing it either tomorrow or Tuesday, my legs are sore after last night so I'll see how they go. When are you starting week 5?

Starting wk5 tomorrow. Can't wait, is it really odd to be this excited? Finished wk4 yesterday so rest day today, apart from walking the dog.

Well done! Don't be scared. I started week 5 today with similar concerns and ate the shorts off R1! :-)

Not so brave I have carefully picked the route. Going to drive to straight, flat, deserted country lane I know so hopefully worst thing will be a tractor! Think I need to wean myself on this😉

Haha I think I'll be the same too when the time comes x

I've been running outside from the start, I was embarrassed the first few times but not at all now. I jog slowly too. I love running outside, so much better than on the treadmill. Be brave and try it!

I know I will have to be brave one day, just think I need a bit more confidence x

I'm sure there are snails that move faster than my jog lol

in reply toSlinkyminky

Slinkyminky not your 'snail' jog impressive but RunnerBee doing it all outside! I seem to be posting like I run, slow and uncertain!!

in reply toRunnerBee

That's impressive. There's also a bit of me thinks I've not had the full experience. Now I know I can actually break into a run Without keeling over i may embrace it! Went for walk with husband yesterday and had to restrain myself from trying out a light jog!! Where's that come from?!
