Well, I did it. Week 4 successfully completed. I found it tough but I guess that's the idea
And instead of being nervous about moving on a week like I was with all the others, I am actually developing a bit of 'belief'. This is a great programme, and if Laura tells me I can do it, I think I probably can.
An added benefit of starting running has been a bit of an revelation about early starts. I've never enjoyed getting up early and we run our own business so are lucky we don't really work to alarm clocks. But I've been running at 6.30 every day (mainly to avoid being seen ) and I love it. In fact I get a bit giddy the night before a run and struggle to sleep. This morning I actually got up at 6am because I couldn't wait to get out there - how bizarre!
Anyway, must dash........I've got to go and eat this cake

Well done!! It's an addictive programme for sure definitely brings giddiness and excitement mixed with trepidation and self doubt. Follow Lauara and you will smash each run. PS. Wish that cake could be shared on this forum haha! Good luck with the cake and all your running
You're spot on there Northernspirit - all of those emotions experienced so far, but not an unpleasant combination. Thanks for your support - will save you a piece
Glad you're enjoying it so much, & well done on your progress! I also run early in the morning to avoid being seen, but discovered it can be quite spiritual being out there with nature so early in the morning. Keep it up, you're doing great x
Thanks poppypug, hoping you're Ok and still mending??
I did, it's coffee and walnut (my favourite) but I took it to my beautiful Best Friends, had one piece and left the rest there for her to finish......it's the only way I can cope lol
