WR10K Cardiff - if you can run... marshal 😊

Was really hoping to have raised my game up to 10k by now, but with one thing and another the training to lengthen my distance past 5k hasn't happened.

I know this race is on in Cardiff on Sunday, and I know at least one of you is running in it! Having listened to the encouraging marshals on the park run, and really knowing what a difference they make, I saw an opportunity to help. I have no idea what I'll be doing or where I'll be, but if I'm on the course you can bet your boots I'll be cheering everyone on 😊

  • Good on ya. Events need good people to volunteer a bit of time- I bet you'll have a blast, regardless of what role you do.

  • I really feel the need to give something back, and this was the best way I could think of 😊

  • Having been reading all the posts about Park Runs and Manchester and Berlin races in the last few days, it's clear that participants are really stoked by the volunteer support. Gotta be better than watching TV or shopping etc.

  • Well done for volunteering for that - bet you'll have a blast! Having just done the Bristol 10k and Parkruns I can tell you the marshals do a fab job and are really appreciated. Thank you 😄 xx

  • It just seemed the right thing to do. I wish I was running but I think seeing the race from a different perspective will be good too 😊
