Ok so not really a bad thing but my increased stamina n speed meant I had to add on to my usual run last night. Meant I had to tackle a hill I'd been hoping to avoid as I'm usually too slow n can take a shorter route n miss it. But it was great. I got patted on the back by another runner who congratulated me for doing so well. Though I'm turning into one of those crazy people, I keep talking to Laura and doing a little victory dance when I finish each session.

Starting week 5 tomorrow, not sure how great it will be as going to a birthday party tonight lots of cake n surgery drinks. But I'm ready for the challenge my confidence is really rocketing with this course n not just about running starting to really feel it in other areas of my life too.

Well done to you! And you got congratulated by another runner! That's brilliant! Enjoy the birthday party but you know what you have to do with the cake and sugary drinks .........

"Carbs loading" is a perfectly legitimate activity for a runner... 😝

Why should I do the job for someone else when I can do it for myself? If anything, I would consider becoming a politician! :D

I love the knock on effects of running. When runners are just starting out on c25k and worried about running in public or whether they are too old or unfit to do it you really want to tell them how much they will grow in confidence but you feel a bit liked a used car dealer. It is one of those things you have to experience for yourself isn't it? Doing great. I've never been congratulated by another runner so kudos👍
