I Did it!! I'm 15 st, 40" waist 52 (age) years old. It a miracle.

Today as run 3 week 9. managed 4.5 K in 30 mins (but that does include 5 min either end warm up/down). My nest target is to speed up and get to 5k in 30 minutes or just get to 5 k first then speed up. Yes its hurts a little, and i find it difficult to maintain regular breathing patterns, serves me right for being an ex smoker (10 years ex) and being a lump of fatty lumpness. But thank Laura for encouraging and setting targets!

Well done!

As for your next target, I would suggest to build the distance first and then concentrate on the speed. ;)

You achieved the miracle yourself so a huge well done. Now you can just run because you can. Don't forget to ask for your badge (on the right). Enjoy!

Congratulations! That's a lovely photo which reminds me so much of how I felt about graduating. It's a miracle that your determination made happen.

1. Consolidate... just keep getting out there and running for 30 minutes, bit longer if you fancy it on the day.

2. Try the NHS C25K+ suite of podcasts which mix things up a bit

3. 5k definitely in your grasp

4. Add some strength and flexibility type activities if you don't already do them (to support your running)

5. 'Take a language class'... so that you have a newer, kinder vocabulary for talking about yourself.

6. Enjoy!

Ah, you had a Laura app and not the added 'Julie' Podcast music?

Don't worry. You've missed nothing. :-)

I'm visiting a place called confused and your driving the bus... Had amazon prime playing rock in back of my NHS C25k if that helps

As I said, don't worry. Those of us that ran with Laura's C25K podcasts endured the music that was included with those podcasts. There are many alternative apps and podcasts to choose from and not everyone is doing the plain old NHS podcast. An app to let Laura interrupt your own music means that you 'missed out' on the 'You and Julie' track - wise move. :-)

Now, get off my bus!
