Gone and forgot my trainers

After completing Week 8 Run 1 yesterday and feeling great I packed my bags for a week away at Prestatyn happily day dreaming of doing my Wednesday and Friday runs along the beach

It wasn't until I was have way up M6 I realised I'd left trainers at home boo hoo

I will do the best I can in my sandels and pick it up again next Monday

I have to say that I am feeling great these day and looking great to, people I know are telling me I look at least 10 years younger and I am shopping for much more fashionable clothes

In fact I will be looking for a pair of jeans today as I have not worn jeans for about 30 years now I am looking forward to it

you forgot your treainers ? :( thats like saying you forgot your knickers ! You'd best go and buy a second pair, a girl cant have to many trainers and certainly cant risk losing a run across the beach. Drastic measures called for !

Last year whilst on holiday I did some bare foot running on the beach, I actually prefer it to running with trainers on.

I will give it a little try later

Barefoot on the foreshore sounds idyllic to me, shoes, or no shoes. Get out and nail those runs as per schedule. No let off for holidaying!

Easy on the candyfloss and ice creams too. Have a great time. Do lots of walking when you're not running.

Have a walk up Great Orme! That will burn some calories off. It's not too far from where you are. There's a ye old tea shop where you could park the missus!

Enjoy the beach runs. Do try a run up the hill to Gwaenysgor if you want to try a real steep one!
