Well almost 3 years to the day, I graduated the first time and I will admit i struggled with the programme, since then I have relocated and with not knowing the area, pretty much gave up but in Jan made the conscious decision I missed it and wanted to get back out there. I live in an area with such beautiful views, how anyone could stay in doors is beyond me. Anyway started walking regularly and a few weeks ago introduced cycling, so exercising 5 times a week and building up my distances has clearly improved my fitness levels because last night i successfully completed w1r1 and unlike the panting beetroot of 3 years ago I completed it without any difficulties. Feeling considerably proud of myself and can't wait to get back out there, also can't believe how such small run has made me realise how much i missed it.

Congratulations on starting the program again and welcome back to running.

It will be wonderful running in a nice area---I assume its countryside.

Brill, sounds like you are much fitter than last time, I'd be interested to know if you 'enjoy' it more this time around..you sound like you're a similar starting level to me, but you have the benefit of knowing what's ahead. I'm on W2r2, just done. Hurrah! :-))

I have just been telling myself if I did it once I can do it again and yesterday was so much better than my last time I really had to push myself to do it to achieve the goal of graduation at the moment I just want to get going again, was tempted to move on and start a bit further on but do t want to tempt fate slow and steady wins the race as they say, good luck with your runs x

Welcome back to running. You know you'll make it through this time round, having done it before and it is a great way to explore your new area too.
