So wow. My last two week 8 runs were troublesome - I finished them, but they felt just out of my ability.
This run was so much better, I mean _much_ better. It felt challenging but sustainable - there was also that lovely couple of minutes where everything comes together and it feels like you could run forever :-). Consistent speed, cadence, breathing, everything. Loved it.
The only difference was that instead of a 3pm run as usual this was done at 7pm...
It was also significantly longer than previous runs - 4.9km (including the walks), previous PB was (I think) 4.6km or maybe even less.
Bring on week 9 on Monday :-).

hi I am doing that run tomorrow but I got that feeling at the end of week 7 and it has stayed all through wk8 up to now, doing between 4.8 and 5.2 k each time now which is very similar to you! Its great when it all comes together, looking forward to graduating if a little unsure of how to go on from there!
I've followed your progress..sorry don't always rely.. you are so close to graduation now yove been steady and sure throughout..
You have built up the strength needed for each next run.. they are all tough..but amazing that you had such a great few minutes (they are the ones that we buzz off )
Consolidation is it now.. be proud and remember all that training over the weeks..
Remember and think of all the advice from our insperation on here.. and go into your graduation week knowing you will smash it!! X
Well done Yatesco keep it up 3 more runs to graduation take it nice and slow and it will happen, just think of the shinny badge at the end of your name 😃
Funny you should say that. I had a fantastic W8R3 too! Incredible average km speed ( for me, at least), and. I did 4.5k rather than the usual 3.8 or4k.
There must be something magical about this one! Looking forward to week 9 and graduation run ( for the second time) next Saturday x
That is brilliant. Very well done. Sometimes, quite by chance, things just come together.
After a challenging interval, those few moments of everything in sync... must have been wonderful. Just maintain your pace, go steadily... and you will get through week 9!
Great post! I absolutely love the feeling of sailing along, feeling the run but loving it. Hasn't happened too often for me yet, but I reckon the more I practise those longer runs, the better. Good luck with week 9- and graduation run!
Well done ☺really you turned a corner on week 1 run1 ☺just 3 runs to go keep at it 😊
