Slipping and sliding

Yes  another park run, it poured down and the muddy ground just got muddier, so need to get some trail shoes, it was hard. Work this morning as slipping on the corners made me go slower if that's possible but how's this for improvement I overtook several people , my other half said I was faster on the 2nd run, (we do two laps for 5k at frimley lodge park )  so ended up soaked really cold clogged  up with mud but happy especially after I hit the shower,

Sounds very similar to Milton Park, Cambridge, although I was marshalling today, I must admit feeling a tad jealous at those sploshing through the puddles! Well done you, love that mud! 😄

Hopefully should be drying out a tad soon, my trail shoe's get very heavy when mud's collected in the cleats, and although grippy they still slide on occasion, a pair of cross-country Spikes may be better...
