HIIT - Interval Timing

Hello All

I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations for a timer for my HIIT. 

I had an app recommended, however it's not compatible with my phone.  I'm also not overly keen on using my phone when working out in case I drop it or something.  Can anyone help?

Thanks, will have a read up of the reviews.  Do you use this, if so do you attach to your wrist... looks quite big?

I have one but not used it yet tbh. I'll be attaching it to my bra strap. (I have a protective cover on mine too)

hi I run with a free app myrun on a windows phone , it has c25k programme, preset intervals and a facility to programme your own intervals , it still involves using a phone but great for a free app, and a waist belt or arm holder could keep your phone safe?

Thank you.  I'm looking for something to use in the gym when training with weights etc.  Will look at this too 😊

I use one simply called 'interval timer', it's installed on the iPad which sits next to the treadmill in the shed (usually on the table). You can programme different intervals, sets and rounds. It's customisable with different horns, beeps etc for high and low intervals and rests etc.

I use one called Seconds on my various iDevices.

It has templates for Tabata, Circuits, Intervals etc. You can actually use the free version for most of it, but the full paid version (which IIRC was £3.99) allows you to store your timers, which is handy if you do more complex sessions and don't want to enetr them all from scratch each time.
