W5R3 done!

Well, after snivelling all week, and feeling sorry for myself, I set the alarm for 7.30am this morning and got out there in the drizzle to tackle the dreaded 20 minute run.

Managed to keep going for the 20 mins, which felt like a massive step up.  Some of it was very slow, but it wasn't walking.  The mental gremlins where still doubtful and suggesting a little walk  would be good, just for a minute, but I ignored it and kept going.  Even managed the little, but steep hill I can't avoid on the way back, that one where I usually time it so I'm walking at that point! This  is so much about mind over matter, as much as a physical thing, and that part feels just as good to me as knowing that I actually ran for 20 minutes.  You know what head?  Nothing bad happened despite what you told me.  I now believe that I can if I want to. How good is that eh?

Well done :)

Sunday morning and drizzle... and a 20 minute run... FAB-U-LOUS darling ;)

The gremlins will still tap on your shoulder occasionally but that run definitely proves that they can be overcome :)

Really well done , so good to tick that run off :)

The head will try all sorts but you beat them :)

I just did the 20-minuter myself. Had a few butterflies when I was doing the warm-up walk for that one. Big confidence boost :)

As long as it is "running" and that is a very wide spectrum of movement in my book, it is a win!  Fantastic to be able to run for 20 minutes, an amazing breakthrough

That's a major step achieved. You know you can finish the programme and run for 30 min now. Well done.
