I meant to use Parkrun for this but couldn't find my barcode (3 years old, never used) so I went to the Park I always run in and did it alone. I had a Haydn violin trio in my ears - metronomic enough to keep me going - and, although I must have heard it 30 times, I noticed every note. I ran steadily, slowly (I was overtaken by small children - but I just kept putting one foot in from of the other. I have just finished the 5 minute walk and I'm sitting on a bench in the snow. I have a wet bottom, a 10 minute walk home and NO energy! But I'm happy. π
W5R3 done. Flipping heck!: I meant to use... - Couch to 5K
W5R3 done. Flipping heck!
Go go go.. well done.. Violins, snow and a great run
Good for you! Get up off your bottom though and move or youβll solidify ππ
A walk home will stretch you out post run. Hot drink, bath or shower would be lovely πΏππβοΈ
Well done π
Iβve got that next Saturday in ParkRun! Iβm scared for week 5! Well done you though! π
I am in awe of you people who have smashed W5R3!!
Well done! I completed w5r3 this morning too - Iβm still smiling π
Sounds like a great way to take your mind off the run that so many irrationally fear. Well done.
Look out for your next run, it catches some out.
Fantastic!! What a great run and well done especially in tough running conditions ππ
Lovely post, you are a star.π
I have the same problem with by barcode, at least I think so.π€
Registered years ago with over exuberant expectations and did not want to just walk it, what a poor soul back then, π€ππ, warpedπ.
Let this stonage techie dinasaur know if you crack your barcode. Just maybe I will figure out first.π¦π€πππ
Terrific run well done!
Do you have an email from parkrun somewhere in your in box? You should be able to use the link in it to take you to your details etc, and a link to your barcode.
