So many things should have gone wrong.  My "rest" day yesterday was an accidental 10KM walk with the hound.  We got a bit lost and she is still giving me evil looks like morning.  The worst run I've done so far was a morning one and yet, here I was about to go out just after 8.

IT WAS BLOODY AMAZING!!!  I not only did the damn thing, I powered up a little incline at 16 minutes in and SPRINTED at the end.

I also seem to have sorted my breathing out by having a puff on my hubby's Ventolin before leaving.  That was the least breathless I've been throughout the programme so far.  My breathing was completely back to normal before I'd finished the warm down walk.

I'm trying to think of a time when I've been as happy shocked as I am writing this post :D

Week 6 - do your worst!!

  • Amazing Maggie - and there was no angst about it either, or so it seemed. Breathing is so important (duh!).  So pleased for you that you got through this one. Now for Week 6 - beware ;-)

  • Nice one Barmy!  I have also found the benefits of Ventolin lately, does make a difference.  Good luck with week 6, I'm not far behind!
