Hi, I've noticed people talking about wk5 saying it is two 8 min run but I checked to see what I will be doing next wk (wk5) and my app says 5min, 3min, 5min, 3min, 5min - this week was 3min, 5min, 3min, 5min.

actually I've just double checked and it is 3 x 5min in run - phew that seems better, although still different to the two 8 min runs some people are explaining?

Hi, there are 3 different runs in week 5. Run 1 is the 3 x 5 minute runs, run 2 is 2 x 8 minutes and run 3 is a 20 minute run with no walking inbetween. Hope this helps

Well, it's a mashup week :) This week you will run different every run-day. It goes as follows: (*means run, otherwise walk)

W5 D1- 5*/3/5*/3/5*

W5 D2- 8*/5/8*

W5 D3- 20*

Hope it helped :)

As the previous commenters have said, there are three different runs for week 5. This link is a helpful, if not a little scary, visual tool that is buried among the pinned posts. I printed it and kept it on the fridge so I knew what was coming next. Good luck with the upcoming runs, you're over halfway now! :)

Thanks! Hadn't seen that spreadsheet and I love it - shows so clearly just how much progress you make as you go through the programme :)

Sorry to break this to you.....you do three different runs on weeks 5 and 6, the good news being, you only need to run each run once. Don't worry about any of them, you'll be fine.

I love the fact that by the time I finish wk5 I can run 20 min none stop :-) Although getting there feels very daunting!!

I think everyone is scared by the 20 minute run, take it nice and slow and you'll do it :)

I start W5 next week. I'm kind of excited and nervous! Although my legs didn't hurt as much on yesterday's w4r3 I'm still thinking how on earth am I going to run for 20 minutes! Good luck for next week :)

I'm the same, I'm a week behind you but I'm already thinking about it!!

We just need to trust in Laura and repeat many times to ourselves that we CAN DO IT :-)

You can do it! I did it on Saturday and to be honest the thought of it was a lot worse than it actually was!!

All the best 😀
