1st run done - what a sense of achievement!

I have just started this programme and completed my first run today. I haven't run for about 4 years so it was an effort to say the least... The first effort was digging out my gym kit to see if anything still fitted. I have kit in all sorts of sizes but I was petrified that it would all be too small. My first attemp found a sports bra and running outfit that fit just fine... No more excuses. Out I went and yes it did hurt a little but now I feel great! I remember why I enjoyed it so much before... It's going to be tough because I carry a lot more weight now than I did then but I am determined to succeed.

My sister who hates running and 'doesn't run' graduated today and I am so proud of her... So perhaps in 9 weeks time we can run 39 mins together :-)

Hey! Well done on getting that first run done and it's so great that your sister is there to run with, offer you advice, support and encouragement.

Congratulations to you both! Truly, that first run is perhaps the most important run of all.

Good luck and enjoy xxx

Welcome and well done making a start. If you ask me, that's the hardest part. It is great your sister is a runner. She'll be there to pull you through, as we all will.
