Well, week 4 will not be missed around these parts. As soon as I felt I was getting into any kind of rhythm in runs 2 and 3, Laura cut in and slowed me down... I'm looking forward to week 5, although I am aware of the spectre that is 20 minutes looming large! Any tips gratefully received.

Wow - well done. I'm afraid I only managed W4R1 and then got hit by the dreaded lurgy. Hope to start it again on Monday. I thought W4 seemed like a pretty big jump so very impressed you got through it all - pretty much half way :)

Oh dear! Hope you feel better soo. Yes, it was a big jump. Very much perseverance rather than enjoyment this week but I think it's prep for next week. We shall see! Good luck with getting back out there next week X

Well done for finishing week 4. It sounds as if you are ready to run for longer so I am sure you will be fine next week. I was worried about the 20 minute run, I think most people are! Just take it steady and you will do it.

You absolutely can do it - Laura has prepared you! Go slowly, and if you think you are struggling - go slower still!

Week 4 was the most difficult for me so far. Week 5 was a breeze in comparison! Just go slow and steady and you'll do great. Good luck!

The programme has prepared you for week 5. You can do it! Slow and steady. Once you've cracked week 5 most people are hooked on this running lark. And after W6 it's a breeze (!). There might be a bit of exaggeration in that last statement😈

Hey Celtprof, good to see that you've kept at it. We started at the same time and I've also been plugging away at it. I started getting back pain last week but I'm being told that it's due to a weak core. Here's to us getting through W5!
