Thank goodness for running!

So today I climbed Mount Vesuvius while I am here on holiday in sunny Italy. And all I can say is thank goodness for running! I only climbed the last 200m to the crater ring (about 1 click) but if it hadn't been for running it would definitely have been harder work, probably painful and just generally not fun... but as it was, I was easily able to stroll up, wasn't puffed, my legs felt fine and I enjoyed pretending to be a goat and skipping from stone to stone as I circumnavigated the crater.

Seriously, if you need any motivation, the thing running has really truly given me is making everything else in my life a breeze!! So go out there and get some for yourself!!

What has running given everyone else?
