First park run

So after graduating on Thursday I decided to do my first ever parkrun.

Gorgeous day and although my stomach was churning with nerves I made it to the start line.

It is described as an undulating course. Turns out that's runner speak for brutal hills!! I ran and ran and ran and 36 minutes and 42 seconds later I finished πŸ˜€

It was tough. I nearly stopped and walked up the hills several times but although I had ditched Laura her words kept coming into my head so I kept going. Totally worth it to get that rush at the end and I've still got a massive smile on my face.

The cake afterwards was awesome!

Brilliant. Very well done, feels great when you cross that finish line having ran the whole way doesn't it?

So the biggest and most important question simply has to be.......

......... What sort of cake did you have? πŸ˜‰
