So it's a beautiful day, the sun is shinning, it would normally be my run day but I can't go out!
I've got this odd pain in my foot, it hurts when I walk but not when I run. It started on Monday after a run and I ran on Wednesday. The run was ok but it was after that it hurt more. I am a wedding photographer and have a wedding to do tomorrow, which means I'm going to be on my feet all day. I can't risk a run today and hurting my foot more. As it is my foot will be killing me by tomorrow evening and I don't want to make it worse than it is. So I'm taking a few days off to let my foot rest and hopefully get better.
I'm feeling frustrated and claustrophobic today - sorry but I just had to vent !

Do you need new shoes? You're doing the right thing in resting but in your job, as you say, you have to stand on your feet. Make sure you wear good support shoes tomorrow and regularly stretch your feet by standing on your toes and rocking back on your heels. Also, try rolling a golf ball, tennis ball or a small bottle of iced water under your feet tonight.
And what a fab job you have! I bet you could tell a few tales!
