Sorry I've been missing this week. Been feeling really rubbish this week. Went to a funeral on Wednesday which was so tough but got through it.
I only managed to get out for my gait analysis today. It didn't take too long to get the most comfy shoes ever. Seemingly I over pronate the right foot more than the left so after comparing all the shoes and watching it on the video (fascinated me!!!), we managed to get my legs as straight as they were going to go. I ended up with Brooks Vapor 3's which are lovely and comfy! £85 left my account but it's well worth it. I had allowed £120 so that didn't make me feel too skint!!!!
I got home and although I still feel a bit poorly, I needed to get out and try my shoes. I did 4.10km in about 32 minutes so not too shabby considering the week I've had and not run since last Saturday. I felt very anxious and had jelly legs halfway round but I pressed on and finished where I had set my goal to stop!
I hope you like my shoes!!!!

Elsie... the shoes are fabulous...I love the pink!!! One of the legs of my leggings are that colour,(yeah they are funky) and my running tee shirt and my running shoes too...yeay!!!!!!
You will look so good in those, and I bet they make you run faster too
Sorry about your sad day... We have to attend a funeral this coming Wednesday too. I am going for a run beforehand to charge my emotional batteries.
You take the running really steady until you feel much better...it is hard to pull back, but not worth making yourself more ill.
We totally love them! So good to have something great that supports running, only other runners appreciate how special the shoes are! I love putting on my trail shoes, they fit so well and my feet feel the love! When they get muddy, I lovingly tap off the caked in mud and sponge clean and then dry them ready for the next adventure! Sorry things have been so difficult for you and hoping your new friends will help you get out again 😀 Julie
Ooooh, I love them!! I purchased some new shoes yesterday, haven't had time to make a post about them, though. I'm sorry to hear about your challenging week, I hope that everything is as good as possible, given the circumstances =]
Gorgeous shoes... Brooks are the best I think.... !!! Sounds like a good run too... And big hug on the funeral, it's never easy and is so emotionally draining, running definitely helps.... Take care and I hope you feel 100% again soon....
Crikey they're lovely shoes"!!!!!!! I love the colour!
I think you'll have many, many miles in those as Brooks are really well made. I've had my Cascadias for absolutely yonks. They get filthy on the trail but they seem to shrug off mud. I've never washed em. They just seem to dry clean some how. No wear on them either, which is good to see. My Saucony Kinvaras, on the other hand, have gone back after only a few months wear having sprung a ruddy gert hole in the upper. Bah!
