Just been to a shop to have my gait analysed and left with a new pair of running shoes. They are soooo light and really comfy but oh my, the price 🙈. Who knew getting exercise could be so expensive ?! 😂

Haha you and me both, I got mine on Thursday. However I was reminded by the wise ones on this forum to think of all the health benefits I am getting from the exercise and without a £40 per mth gym membership which I would still need decent trainers for. Long term gain short term pain x

That’s true. Plus I had a bad day yesterday so this is a little pick me up. We deserve it. Might not tell hubby how much they cost though 😉

What is it they say about Scots and Yorkshiremen?

I am exactly the same.......I don't know where they get the price from.

They are an investment in your health and fitness and I am sure you will never regret it.

Lol. I think they just pick random numbers and stick them together 😂

It’s my birthday tomorrow and I’ve been given £45 so it wasn’t all my own money thankfully

Happy birthday for tomorrow

I'm going to see if I can find a shop tomorrow that measures & see if I get on better 😁

If you do go, take your running shoes with you. They watch you on the treadmill but you’re only running for 30 seconds at a time. They’ll determine what type of runner you are then try on different shoes to suit and you get to try them on the treadmill too. It was pretty good. X

Ah but your feet are your bod's foundations and you'd never extend your house with dodgy foundations ....

oh and Mr JCR rides a proper road racing bike - I am telling you, your shoes could be knitted out of gold chains and they'd still not be as expensive as becoming a road cyclist!
