After two weeks out thanks to this stupid chest cold, I completed week 2 run number 1. In intermittent snow. And up a hill. Thought I was going to die on the first run(which was up the hill) but the others were ... Tough but not impossible. Happy me

It didn't settle but we got big fat flakes falling in south wales
Love South Wales! And I really, really love snow..( too much for a lady of my advanced years)
But, not for running in though.. icy here first thing this morning... Staffordshire Moorlands! Had to really watch my step when I set out.. skidding old lady can be a health hazard!
I just finished my week 2 day 1 too! REALLY shocked how well it went. I wasn't particularly out of breath until the last run (up a low gradient but long hill!) when i really did struggle and ended the run 10 seconds early. The main issue i seem to have is with my feet- they REALLY ache up to just above my ankles. Im hoping it's a lack of strength and will build up.... we'll see. No snow here though! Day 2 on thursday
