Haven't run for a couple of week and went out on sat with a local group that is doing an8wk course for beginners, but I can only go without them every other week.

I finished c25k a couple of months ago, but thought I'd start again. Today I went out for a run and this is my results. Can anyone tell me what I need to do, and am I really slow.

I don't know anyone else to ask what I'm doing is ok. Thanks

Is that in miles or km?

Km

That's just shy of 2 miles so it's none too shabby at all. So long as you walked and ran the required lengths is all that matters.

You just need to keep running regularly. Slowly is fine, that way you don't get hurt. As you keep plugging away, and always having a rest day between runs, then you will get stronger and fitter. You will probably find that you run for longer before you start to run faster. You need more puff to run faster and that only comes with getting fitter. Don't be in a hurry, just go steady and enjoy yourself

Quicker than I often am anyway, so looks good to me.

You've clearly not lost the ability to run continuously for 30 minutes.

Have you had a go with the NHS C25K+ suite of podcasts which give you some tools for working on speed and stamina?

Hi I have put the C25K+ on my mob, so the next step is to give them a go.

Thanks for your reply
