Its a first consolidation run tomorrow. I feel a sense of freedom. But what did you do? Use app? Go exploring? I’m undecided!!
Any advice would be great!

Congratulations on graduating from C25K, after a few 30 minute consolidation runs you can go onto the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura which are pace, speed and stamina, after that if you wish to run a 10K do Ju Ju's Magic 10, a little like C25K, to see what it is click or tap Ju Ju's Magic 10.
Personally, as I state in the guide to post C25k running, I loved the freedom of moving beyond the strictures, and to be frank the music, that us old timers had to suffer in the days when the podcasts were the only way the programme was delivered.
Again, as I mention in that guide, I moved straight onto working up towards 10k, which I think was probably not the wisest thing to do, as consolidating at 5k for a few more runs would have been beneficial, although I suffered no specific ill effects from doing so.
I am now more aware of the way the body adapts and develops and slow and steady still need to be your watchwords.
I would say have some fun with your newly won ability to run.
Go and run somewhere beautiful and inspiring and new to you as a runner.
Explore your paces.........your slow pace is what will help you build the solid aerobic base you need to build on as a runner and is as equally important as knocking out a pb.
Forget about tracking, pace and distance and just enjoy yourself.
For me, making it up as I went along, (within the 10% rule, I may add) was exciting and challenging and soon reinforced my love of running...........I really don't like training plans..........apart from C25k, of course, to which we all owe so much.
I picked my favourite playlist on Spotify and trotted off to enjoy the freedom. It’s weird when you start running first after C25K. But it is great too. Just relax, enjoy your runs. Spend a few weeks doing consolidation runs first before moving on. I’m running 3 years now since I graduated from the C25K plan. 90% of my running is 5K, so don’t feel under any pressure to run too far or too fast, too soon. Your welcome to pop on over to the Bridge to 10K Forum. It’s lovely and friendly.

Hi FreedomToRun I have been consolidating for 2 months. I was worried at first to run without Laura telling me how many minutes I had left so listened to w9r3 again for the first two runs then swapped to music and keeping an eye on time. Now I am just running no music either just enjoying it and running a slightly different route each run. I stuck to 30 minutes. Although the odd run I do an extra few minutes if I have time 😊 well done and good luck!
