Week 7 run 3

Week 7 run 3

Hi All,

Oh my goodness, I don't know where the energy for this came from tonight! What a week. I work as a pastoral support worker/child protection officer and it sure was the week from hell. It's very emotionally draining sometimes and it certainly was today especially.

I couldn't regulate my breathing to start with and didn't really think I was going to be able do it! Once I settled down and got into a rhythm I was okay. I ended up going down a pitch black road and I am terrified of the dark so I just legged it and just looked forward. I won't be going that way again!!! Haha! I don't learn do I?

I'm so excited to be starting week 8 next week, in fact I can't quite believe it. There will be a little disruption next week and will have to do Monday, Thursday, Saturday as I am away Wednesday at another uni visit with one of my boys.

How did you do Saul?

  • I bet running is such a blessed relief for you after a stressful time at work. Great to be able to run away the cares of the day/week.

Well done. Look at that calorie burn!!!! Wow

  • Well done Elsie. True commitment on these dark winter evenings. You are gonna love springtime. Not sure I could have done C25k at this time of year.

Good luck with week 8, these are consolidating runs and you are doing great. Running for 25 mins non stop is amazing, be proud of yourself. :)

  • Well done Elsie
