I did that loads of times... ended up a long way out... I got much more sensible in the last few weeks, realising I needed to factor in the return journey! :) Got wet loads of times walking home!!!! Glad your run was fun :)

Yes thanks, finished my last run yesterday. Glad to report no dramas or incidents this time. Looking forward to next week's run. Weather doesn't seem too bad for the coming week either.

Bit weird starting a fitness program in the middle of winter...but I guess that's determination!

Brilliant, I've got my 3rd week 4 run tomorrow, actually looking forward to it and moving on to week 5. Can you post something on how you find 1st run of week 5 please?

Yeh will do! I'll be doing it on Monday evening! I'm sort of dreading it but excited too! I got a bit anxious today during my run so going to stick closer to home!

I think running longer will be better. Sometimes I find myself not wanting to stop after 5 minutes although my resemblance to a tomato was not a good look today!!! Haha!

Hi Elsie, That would be fab. I've read a few other posts were people have found weeks 5 & 6 difficult and had to repeat the runs before moving on which makes me think there's a huge increase in the amount of running time. Good luck with it and I'm so so pleased to know there is someone else resembling a tomato running around out there 🍅.

I think run 1 & 2 are very similar to week 4 in terms of rest and increase of run duration. Run 3 is where we will have to pace ourselves, and concentrate a bit more. Maybe a 20 mins. playlist of your favourite songs to help the time pass rather than Laura's choice ;)

Hi guys and we'll done, I'm just repeating week 5. W5d1 I found OK, I just think of it as 3 minutes plus 2 rather than 5 minutes, so I pace myself for the 3 then think OK only 2 left and I know I can run 2 minute lol. This is the week you learn to "dig deep" it's no harder physically it's all mental. Now I've got to get out today to do w5d2 to try and stay ahead good luck

I find it really helps to break the time down into small chunks in your head .

Good Luck ! :-) xxx
