Week 4....completed 💪

After a weekend of boozing and bbq I set my alarm, woke up before it, out and completed week 4 final run. What a great way to kick start the new week with a run. Onto week 5. If I, a 48 year old 20 stone unfit non runner can get this far, so can you. Onwards....bring on week 5.

Well done, I just did my Wk 4 Run 3 this morning. I didn't feel like going out as it was cold and windy, and I did no exercise on Saturday or Sunday, but I am so glad I went out and did it. Starting Week 5 on Wednesday, all being well . . .

I’m on week 4 and struggling with that last 5 minute run! I’ve done 2 runs this week but may need to repeat it as the thought of 20 minutes next week is scaring me!!

That’s where I am at - it’s those last 5 mins but I’ll keep going, I’m determined to do but W5 does scare me too 😬.

Are you going too fast? You can always go a bit slower - remember the snail! Also don’t worry about the 20 min run. We’ve all done that and survived so you’ll be fine (and believe me we worried too). Take it one run at a time and if you manage it - move on and tackle the next one. Make sure you approach it with a ‘can do’ attitude though because it’s as much a mental as physical challenge from week 6 on. Good luck
