Time to get back on it!

I've been a bit hit and miss with my running over the last couple of months with a mixture of work, family commitments and a recurring bout of a flu like bug all getting me down.

So this morning I pulled on my Asics and got out there, largely to try out my Xmas goodies, a new TomTom Runner 2 watch and bluetooth earphones for my ipod. Set off feeling a bit chilly but it soon warmed up once I got going. A slow 2.5 miles, I think i was really feeling all that Xmas food and excess, but it felt good to be out.

Next plan, try to keep to a regular slot for a few weeksto get myself back in the swing, then start on the Couch to 5k stepping stones, before I start building up to my target of being able to take part in a 10k for charity in the summer.
