Did my Christmas Day run. Was out early with my dog (or pace setter) who most people think is too cute to let past without a bit of patting etc. My time was alright but overly influenced by Fearne who doesn't normally meet so many people when we go round the loch so early. But Christmas is Christmas.
Anyway after some early morning exercise I've now finished stuffing myself with turkey, sitting in front of the fire and had enough drink that makes running Christmas Day and not Boxing Day a wise move for me.
After my first post which I received so many positive responses I thought I'd provide a, not too brilliant, photo of the loch which doesn't have the best view from my finishing point.
I used strava to record my run so hopefully included a link for those that are interested
Merry Christmas everyone thanks for everything and all the best to those going out on Boxing Day. I'm going back to the telly with my feet up and a warm glow but I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Really lovely picture. Envying you now as I spent the day stuffing myself with turkey and all the trimmings, home-made Christmas pudding, brandy butter and Christmas cake and ham and salad, and now I have to run tomorrow morning before we head off to do the same again on Boxing Day. Looking forward to getting back to normal food in a couple of days' time. I will think of you smugly in bed whilst I pound the pavements tomorrow!
Continue to have a great Christmas and an excellent 2016.
Have you only recently changed your picture? I would have noticed that one before now! Is that a springer? Hope he is a better pacer than mine who is allergic to running shorts!
Yes I changed my picture recently because most people on here have photos of themselves. There's two of us who go running though but only one of us knows how to use the camera so it had to be a photo of the cute one.
She's scared of everything from dog leads through to wind but does seem to excel at tripping up and generally getting in the way. We got her as a cocker spaniel but I've my doubts that she's a proper cocker and may have a hint of springer about her. Seriously though she's lovely and has started associating getting her bandana on (doesn't everyone wear them) with going for a run.
I have to admit she's a tad on the cute side. Yes, they did say she was a working cocker but if she was ever to go near gun shot I think she would run a mile. She is so timid it's unbelievable.
