This morning I scraped ice off my car, visited Lema Ranch and ran the beautiful trails for 28 minutes...Found it surprisingly easier than my 25 minute run 2 days ago! Now just 2 minutes off the goal of running 30 minutes non stop! Yay
This is such an exciting journey we're all on, incorporating regular fitness as a core value into our lives
NB: Photo is of me (and a friend who has already graduated c25k and sometimes runs with me) on the trails at Lema Ranch after our run today. It may look bright but it is actually freezing!

Yes, it did feel great! The funny thing is, it's not really the countryside (although it feels like it) coz it's a ranch with 8 miles of trails within a city! There are views of mountains all around and so you might feel you are in the countryside miles from anywhere whilst in the ranch but actually all the mainstream shops are within 5 minutes drive! Redding, California is a strange place indeed, but I do love it here!
Yes, she only started joining me once I started running 20+ mins because she graduated c25k two years ago and is a regular runner now! I did all the initial training on my own.
Well done! I ran in the morning today since it is getting quite hot where I live, and it is 30 degrees + in the evenings. Running in the morning means the road is not so hot and sticky, and it is cooler.
