Wk6R1 - The rumours are true

Having read some if the posts on here about Wk6, I already had an idea it might be tough this morning and it was.

I think after running 20 mins unbroken, putting the breaks in, starts the warm down process, and makes running again tougher. I'm sure this is part of the plan so that 25 mins unbroken on Friday will be a breeze by comparison. :-D

That's what I'm telling myself any way.

Yes, it is unexpectedly brutal isn't it! I remember finding w6r3 a relative breeze after the first two runs that week. Keep going, it'll get better :)

That's about it. :) teaching you not to want the breaks!

I found it tough to go back to the intervals too. Stick with it though, you'll soon be out the other side!

I agree but trust the breaks r needed a couple of times. Loved unbroken runs and now never have recovery walks as it seems harder to get going again!

I agree with you completely, I too completed this run this morning and found it a real struggle - well done for completing it though. Fingers X W6R3 will be a breeze for both of us!! Best of luck
