Wk2 R1 - what a difference a bit of music makes!

Hi everyone! My first run on grass - was all good and made better by Mr Jarvis Cocker accompanying me πŸ˜€. I feel like a Tigger right now - bouncy!

My rib area was aching towards the end - would that be because I haven't got my breathing right?

It could be because you were running too quick and maybe you are feeling the effects of the twisting action of your midsection. Your middle gets jiggled quite a bit when you run, which is why it loses weight so successfully

It'll sort itself out, don't worry. Just go nice and steady. Your breathing will be easier if you are going slowly enough. You'll have enough puff to finish the session

Enjoy your next one!

Thank you, misswobble. I like the news that the middle loses weight successfully - I didn't know that and it is my problem area (I'm an apple). x

You will notice your middle jiggles as you run so you should lose quite a bit of weight there. You might notice weight going from your butt too as well. I noticed I lost weight off my backside quickest. Well, I had most to lose from there! LOL

I agree with MW - I couldn't believe how much my stomach and bottom toned up just from the running. It does take time but then all of a sudden you realise the impact. By then you might have really got the bug and be doing core training too. It sounds crazy now but that's where we all started. Take it steady and slow and you'll go from strength to strength. Good luck :)
