That was hard!

I made it though, despite the pouring rain. Glad I have some recovery time as I think I'll need it. 20 min run next - how scary is that?

Well done. Yes the next run is the one most of us worried about but you'll live to tell the tale! The programme has prepared you for it and you're ready. Take it slowly, leave the gremlins at home and then be prepared to be amazed at how fab you're going to feel when you've done it!

Well it's not scary in that you have come this far and hence are prepared. Fine to take a two day gap ! Eat/drink sensibly, psyche yourself up for it and get out and enjoy it. Go nice and slowly and you'll be fine

Have fun!

Know how you feel. I just completed Wk5 session 3 and was a bit nervous .. flapping around during warm-up walk worrying i was getting a stitch, had drunk too much / not enough water ..!!! First five minutes were the hardest and then I just enjoyed listening to my music and was determined to keep going. Good luck!!!!!!

Pretty scary in your brain but physically every run you have done so far and every rest day has got you ready to succeed. Slow and steady, good breathing and 2 rest days before, just plod through it. I told myself if I stopped part way through, I was going to have to do it again and tell everyone on here I had failed. That helped me. Excited for you, w5r3 is a breakthrough run 😉

somewhere on here there must be lots of posts about pre W5R3 nerves and post W5R3 elation... including mine! Everyone was incredibly supportive and that carried me through it and out the other side on a breeze of happiness and relief- yes you can do this too! Trust the programme, run as slowly as you can, keep breathing- and off you go ! :)

It is scary, but you're totally ready for it and can complete it - that's the beauty of the plan :-)

I remember my fears very clearly on my first 20 minute run and gobsmacked when I did it. As everyone has said, go slow, kick those gremlins (if needs be) into touch and trust in the programme, it really works.

Me too. Did my w5r2 this morning and feeling nervous. I had almost convinced myself to do this one again next rather than embark in the 29mibs, but reading all the comments from everyone above makes me think I should give it a go and not be such a scaredy cat! Good luck with your 20 mins!! :D
