Cannot believe week 7 me!

Cannot quite believe that on week 1r1 running for just 60 seconds was a nightmare and here I am starting week 7 and running 25 mins! For someone who is fifty and hasn't run since school I am amazed never thought I would stick it out. This programme is great. Hoping I find running for 25 mins today easier than I did on Friday wk6r3 it was tough but I did.

It is an amazing feeling isn't it? I am the same age and graduated a couple of weeks ago and loving the changes running has brought to my life. Was at the gps on Friday and was complimented on my excellent blood pressure and pulse rate! Good luck on that run today...you can do it!

It is a great feeling managed to do run 1 wk 7 this morning had to dig deep but very smug when I managed it. Congrats on your blood pressure my resting heart beat has fallen from high 70s to low 60s so it's all positive

Hoping to become more nifty as I progress but hey never thought I would get this far! Thanks for the kind words of support 😊

well done, it is all about steady progression which you are doing great at , next week is just another step along that road , some runs will feel harder than others , just go out and run it like you have the others , slow and steady :D

Definately slow and steady I am hoping it gets easier as finding the 25 mins a bit of a push but managing it, thanks for the advice

Hey you did it! I love your name niftyfifty😊 I turn fifty next year and decided earlier this year I wanted to be fit at 50 so completed c25k a few weeks ago. It is truly amazing what you can achieve.i am fitter than I have been in the last two decades! You are nearly there! ☺️
