Had a quick listen, quick skip through - aaargh! The music is the worst yet. Week 8 music was really good. There is even some sort of awful reggae thing at the end, oh lord, I am going to struggle next week - pah!

:-) :-) It's obviously designed to ensure that you run your little legs off in order not to have to repeat the final week !

You'll be amazed how good that reggae thing is to run to, just give it a go ;)

I can't wait to get to Week 8 as Week 7's music is rubbish lol

I miss "Both feet on the ground"!!

Can you not use the app, I found I could use my own music with that..? Sounds a truly dreadful selection to graduate on, you want Born to Run surely????

As much as I love that song, I still find it slightly discomforting when Bruce Springsteen calls me Baby!

Ha ha! In truth I must confess I have never run to this one, but just occurred to me it should be an obvious option for a graduation run. Mine was to The Fields of Athenrye, a live version with much applause & wooping at the end. Seemed strangely appropriate for a grad run in the country:)

I have the podcasts on my iPod, that's all I go out with so following those. I only have 3 runs left then no more .. it will be bliss :-D

Yes sounds like you have a big incentive there to get graduated . Good luck, & good luck to your ears;) x

I believe that the music on the C25K podcast is almost part of the rite of passage. If you've graduated without suffering it, haven't you cheated? ;)

Just think - only 3 more runs and then you can run to whatever you like... Get out there and tick those runs off, one by one :)

I still listen to week 9 quite a lot - you grow to like it - it becomes nostalgic as you associate it with really becoming able to run. I particularly like a sort of steel drums track near the beginning, I think it's the second one into the running part and comes just as you feel you're settling into a rhythm. Anyway, none of the music on the c25k podcasts is anywhere near as bad as the terrifying pace-keeping muzak on the c25k+ podcasts! You can investigate them next :)

If you can overcome the music then you will be up for anything! It's character-forming. Once you've done C25k you will never have to endure that music ever again. You'll come to miss Julie though!

Doesn't that one pop up every week? Seems like it.. It was the one earlier in the plan.. Rap song been around the world got lots of girls or something. They should play that to torture people into confessing. The first song week 8 was good but most of week 8 was fine, I didn't have to turn it down heh :-D
