Have had a couple of good runs since graduating on Monday. Tried a different route today which took me along some lovely trails. However, the real reason I'm posting is to say that my new found love of running has transferred to my fifteen year old 'non-sporty' son who today completed his second 30min run whilst we were out. He has also used the C25k programme. Think I saw somewhere that you could buy little metal badges, so may try and order one to recognise his achievement. We both plan to progress to Parkrun (as soon as my confidence allows!!)๐๐๐.
Another one saved from the couch I think. I just need to work on my youngest son now!๐

Thanks poppy. My husband has done our nearest one a few times, but it has a killer of a hill in it ( and probably explains why he currently has a bad knee!), so we have plumped to do our first at another local one which looks a little less challenging and seems more popular. Will hopefully tackle that in the next week or two and will of course let you guys know on here how it goes!๐ฎ
That is so fab.... My boy is nearly 14 now and he did C25k with me when he was 11 and he's loved running ever since and is training for his first triathlon... I bet you are so happy I love reading posts like this ๐
