No idea what it's like but comes with HRM, spare strap and charger.

I have a 305, its a bit slow sometimes in locking onto satellites, but other than that it does everything and more than the newer more expensive watches do. You can download handbook from Garmin web site. Any questions, just message me.
I agree - download the manual - that's all anyone gets. Garmins are pretty user friendly though.
If you plan to use the chest heart rate monitor you need gel and batteries etc. I have a watch which came with a heart rate monitor but have never used the monitor - seemed like too much faffing about
Hi Richard , thats a flippin' bargain ! I use mine for time, distance, pace and calories used and if you download Garmin express onto your computer , you can upload details of your run to Garmin Connect . Theres a lot of people on there from here . Theres also a virtual pacer that you can " race " against .
I think you learn as you go along and use it really. Theres a lot you can use it for ,but I just try and keep it as simple as possible as I am a numpty xxx
OOh, the fun begins! You know it's obligatory to give it a name? What's your called?
That was the first gps watch that I started with. I also bought mine used but loved the features. It tells me pace, distance and time all on one screen. I bought another 305 when the first one stopped working. It probably on need a new battery but I'm not to keen on trying to make such a repair myself. Good luck and enjoy it!!!
