Running the Great Eastern Run on October 11th (Peterborough), had a great weekend, over indulged a bit in London and I think the imune system took a hit as Man Flu hit me Sunday morning like a train. Feel a bit better today (I'm in work so must be OK) so I have pushed my Monday morning run to Tuesday, will do another on Thursday (both 10-12k's) and will do a longer (10-12 Miles) on Saturday. Will tail off next week with a few 5K's ready for the following Sunday. Looking at around 2:20 - 2:30.

Hopefully the Man Flu is just a 48 Hour thing :(

Tell yourself the manflu is in your imagination and wish it away. Mind over matter sorta thing, bit of positive thinking.

You have training to do! No time for colds etc

Have fun! Eat well and stay hydrated. The overdoing it could have caused you to feel below par. It does!

Get as much sleep as you can, drink lots of water and a couple of paracetamol should sort out most of your symptoms. Good luck for the 11th.
