Well hello fellow runners. It's been a while since I was last on the forum. I'm afraid I've had a few shin splint type problems. God they so bloody hurt its unbelievable.
But I can safely say that they are now history so I'm back running again. Taking it gentle at the moment so as not to fall foul of the shins again.
So I see things are moving on. People going on holiday. Aliboo running her legs off. They will soon be 45 yr old legs girlπ JJ has joined the 45ers club and hope your back in full spirit soon young lady with your new running shoes, yes the old ones did look abit tired.
So here we go more miles a head. To all you new runners keep up the good work and keep pounding those miles. Hope everyone else is doing well.
More posts soon regards J π

There was someone else on here recently with lung disease and I wondered if you could offer them advice, having overcome your problems. It's so great what we can all achieve with the support of others on this forum

Hello! Nice to see you back again. Ouch sounds painful. I had the beginning of shin splints once and it was horrible. Awful pain. Take it easy and build up slowly. Look forward to reading your posts again!! Xx
Welcome back Jase! I have shin splint at the moment and am still having treatment. I thought I'd broken my flippin leg! The pain is so bad! Over that phase now though, thankfully
Are you running any distance yet? I can run for five minutes. Sigh
Hey stranger! Good to hear you're doing well, except for those dreaded shin splints! Aren't they just nasty buggers? Hope you get on top of them, no doubt you will
Half marathon training for me.. using Galloway method. Have had ITB dramas but hopefully on top of them now. Cheers! Kel
Hey Jase, 4 weeks to go until the big shift to the sunny UK (haha!). Doing everything I can to sort out this ITB issue, but to no luck. Have had to scale distance right back to 5KM (and even then I am still getting ITB dramas). Hope all is well in your neck of the woods
