It's better than OK, it's actually the wise way to go. Slow running carries less injury risk, and before taking on the vanities we are permitted, it's best to get everything strong, first, not just the muscles.

Yes! I started really slowly, every second improvement has been so exciting! You don't get so many PBs if you start off speedy!
