Finally got round to getting a gait analysis and these gorgeous proper running shoes.

I also got a massive discount in runner's need by mentioning parkrun.

Took them for their first 5k yesterday and they're super bouncy and comfy, my breathing couldn't keep up with my running!😀

You’ll be even quicker Crawlhome - you might need to consider changing your name to Sprinthome or something! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Well done you. I did this too at Runners Needs and although I paid a lot for the new trainers I am chuffed with them and they are soooo comfortable. In fact, although I did complete the C25K on the treadmill I took the plunge on Monday morning and did my first outdoor C25K -WOW it is totally different from the treadmill and I just hope my lungs and body will allow me to continue as I have now returned to C25K after a break of a number of weeks and am doing as suggested on this site of doing the first run of each week each time a run so presently on my 4th run and I think I shall need to complete in full again before I plan the parkrun which I had thought I would have been able to do but which I think having done the outdoors run I will need to pace myself for:( Looking forward to it all. BTW any advice re: pain\pressure on left hand side of head after run - dehydration I thought but am open to your opinions. Many thanks and well done to all C25Kers! Jo
