Finished my graduation run tonight running alongside the river, could not have had a better evening it was beautiful! I've still not managed to run 5k within the 30 mins so this is my next goal (4km being my best) I have signed up for the cancer research winter 10k in Manchester on the 28th of February so I have also downloaded the c210k app I start on week 9 next week. Thank you everyone for your support and advice which has been most helpful! πŸ˜„

Well done. In a way it's almost good that your 5 km in 30 minutes is still outstanding, because that gives you a shorter term goal than the 10 km mark. Here's to your further steps in running.

Fantastic and well done. I have graduated (last Saturday) and 5K takes me 35-40 minutes. At 51 not sure a 30 minute 5K is possible right now so I am focussed on enjoying my runs and also adding distance but keeping the same pace or maybe allowing it to slowly increase naturally, the last thing I want is an injury, be careful. Very well done and don't worry almost everyone does not manage 5k in 30 minutes when they graduate, in fact most probably haven't even tried. It is all about running for 30 mins and that's the only thing that matters !! I envy your goals I am not that brave to do it so quickly, but am slowly getting there ! ;) Congratulations and happy running !! :) :)
