I completed week 5 run 3 this morning and can't quite believe I managed it.... Started 5 weeks ago and was counting steps to get to end of one minute. Found week 5 run 2 the most difficult so far and genuinely could not see how 20 mins was possible but although today was hard found it easier than run 2. My legs kind of went a bit numb after 8 minutes, in a good way(!) and biggest thing was mental part rather than physical. Have read a lot of posts on here over the past few weeks and they really helped me with what to expect so thanks. Looking forward to (tricky) week 6.

That's a lovely run to get done that one. Well done. I bet you've been smiling all day. Enjoy week 6 x :-)

Well done. Week 6 is challenging too, but once you've managed that 20 minutes in Week 5 you should have the confidence to keep going and know you will get there.

A lot of people (myself included) found W6 R1 harder than we expected - and this seems to be because we become a bit overconfident after that 20 minute run, and maybe set off a bit faster, or forget that it takes 5-10 minutes to really settle into your running pace, and going back to a series of shorter runs is harder than doing one long one.

Just thought I'd mention this, so if you find W6 R1 feels tough, don't be downhearted. And you may ace it, and think I'm just a loonie!

Thanks - definitely do feel a bit invincible after week 5! Good to know to manage expectations for week 6.

Good for you 😀 have to say I was ecstatic when I managed W5R3 I was so scared of it. W6R1 bit me so just take it steady is my advice 😀

Well done you!

Week 6 left me feeling quite flat after the euphoria of that 20 minute run at the end of week 5 - I think a lot of us found week 6 to be a bit of an odd one for one reason or another!
