Final C25K run done & 28 KG dropped!

I made my final C25K run this morning shortly after 6 am and I got more than the 5K under my belt. What a journey this has been! I have never thought that one day I'd be doing regular exercise, let alone enjoying it. This 9 weeks journey (10 for me) transformed my life. I now have more energy, more active and 28 kgs (62 lbs) lighter! I am really grateful for the NHS for promoting such a brilliant programme, and to Laura for her reassuring voice and occasional pats on the back :)

Waheeeey! Pompoms flaying for you in France. Congratulations- that is one gobsmackingly awesome achievement. 28 kgs, that's fabulous. Keep running, keep smiling, keep posting. This programme is one of the best things that ever happened to me too.

What a fab achievement. Well done! Losing that much weight is life-changing and alters the way you feel and think about yourself. Your health should be much better now, and you'll feel decidedly springier. Ready for anything almost! Stick with the healthy eating regime now for life! It's the way to go. Running will hopefully keep you on the straight and narrow

Good luck!!!!! As a reward to yourself for completing the programme why not treat yourself to a non-food reward. A pair of new running shoes would be ideal.

Thank you very much. I am determined to make it a change for life and it has been going so enjoyably well so far, with the occasional ups and downs. But since my running shoes are still in a good shape, I've booked myself a trip abroad as a treat :)

Oh my!! You lost all that weight on the plan alone in such a short space of time? Congratulations, you must be feeling fantastic! :-D

Thank you. It feels really great, but the weight loss wasn't due on the plan only. I made some dietary changes too.

Well done and congrats graduate! :-D

C25K is an amazing plan. Laura's podcasts are wonderful. But to have lost 28Kgs, and to have completed the program with a run of 5km is an impressive achievement on your part. A sign of great dtermination and will power. Well done, best wishes for many more happy runs :)
