... up and out, on her feet, running/jogging - moving faster than sheโs done in years? Wow, itโs me ๐!
Canโt believe Iโve just gone and completed W9R3. Ran my 30 minutes on new (running) terrain - the island of Kalvรธya, not far from me. The route was a bit shorter than usual, so I had to do some rounds, and the hills slowed me down a bit. I had to shorten my stride and work hard at my breathing, but I made it over the top every time. I have an awful lot to learn about building stamina - and generally being a better runner. But I have no excuse not to continue now.
Thanks for the journey - so far ๐๐ป๐ฅฐ

Well done you! Looks like you have a lovely place to run in too!! ๐
Thanks, Debston. I really want to improve. Even though I know Iโve come a long way since my first outings, I do feel like a pretend runner๐คช. Im still red as a berry when I finish and Iโm making hardly any progress on pace. However, Iโm looking at Bridge to 10K. It looks fiercely challenging. But then so did C25K when I started that a few months ago.
Haha, I so know what you mean about being a "pretend runner"! Recently was running in woods and a woman talking on her mobile said "hang on let me get the dog, there's a runner coming..." and I honestly looked round to see "the runner" because it didn't occur to me that she meant me! ๐ Anyway, good luck with it all and keep checking in on us all here to encourage us on our way.
That's priceless, Debston. When I pass any walkers, even if I don't run very fast, I at least try to straighten up and lay off the panting till I get by. You'd never know, I might pass for a real runner too one day
Whoo-hoo! Congrats! ๐๐โจ๐๐ I love your photos ๐, you MUST keep posting them. This is just the start of your running journey! Happy running! ๐โโ๏ธ
