I have had hip twinges again over the past week - yesterday it even hurt a bit to walk on. Got up this morning and right as rain. How is this possible??
Anyway I am continuing with strengthening exercises and will run as and when it seems ok - maybe add extra rest days and do run/walking if need be.
Am baffled really!

I was in complete agony with my hips for weeks and weeks. First my right, then my left it was a complete mare and I nearly drove myself mad with it !
Now, I very rarely get any pain at all in them . Maybe a odd twinge in my right one , but not a pain as such .
Yep , its a total mystery to me too ! I do know if I have been overdoing it though ,so I am very mindful of that but apart from that , the pain just went away and never came back . Hallelujah ! Its a miracle !
I think you are completely right in taking a couple more rest days just to make sure not to aggravate it xxx
I don't want to stop running altogether again but hopefully caution/extra rest days/diligent strengthening will help and eventually get me where you are :o) Xxx
I think rest days are really needed in the later stages of C25K. Shows that rest is needed if it is better and I think our bodies are learning to recover from exercise, well done. Julie
